Briefly, how ketamine rocks.

(although to be more precise -- it's crystals)

Ketamine is a brilliant drug. It's shown to make many beneficial changes to the human condition. Sources are available at the end for everything contained within.

I have always thought it is a beautiful thing, and I was excited when first trying it years ago.

I think it's worth saying I don't think ketamine, a particular drug, or any specific drug is necessarily good for everyone or a specific person: people react differently, there are different methods of administration, there are different side effects. And how much are you going to take?

But I think ketamine is great for people who have treatment-resistant depression, struggles with alcohol, and in general, just fucking trauma they can't work past.

Over time, studies would also come out agreeing with me on those particular areas I just covered.

What is ketamine like? It's warming and freeing. I feel fuzzy on ketamine -- in a way that nothing beats. I think it really is determined based on what mental state you enter it with, though, and how much you take.

It's great for moving past trauma, and helps you work through it, dissolve it. It helps you talk, too, in spite of being a dissociative -- you stop caring so much. I think that's something it has in comparison w/ alcohol -- given it's a nervous depressant, it loosens inhibitions.

Sometimes, ketamine does make me sad -- but it's more like it can exacerbate that feeling. If you're miserable, you won't take some ketamine and immediately feel better all the time. I think it requires talking, too, and the presence of other people. Ketamine just on it's own -- I don't think it solves things.

It's also very good, I think, at the aspects when it comes to the psyche. When you take far too much, you're either still conscious but barely, and you'll warp into the television screen of the thing you're watching, or you'll like, change. Or be changed. You become competent at how you exist on multiple dimensions. Knowing when it comes to the state of your soul.

K-holing is fun, introspective, but it is the most intense part of it. It's essentially where you take so much you are approaching anesthetisation -- but you are not unconscious. Someone could rob your house and you'd be unable to do much about it besides staying in bed. And of course -- that could be dangerous. Again, it's why I don't like such high amounts on your own.

From experimentation -- nicotine can be bad for certain people with ketamine. It can make the experience worse, make them throw up. After all, ketamine is an anesthetic, which can prompt nausea, and nicotine itself stimulates the CTZ to try to make that happen.

But I think nothing's better when you need to process.. And though I've described it as "a better drunkenness", I've never really thought alcohol solves your problems. It makes it easier to discuss them with others, but, I don't think it helps you move on from them.

Science shows ketamine rewires our neural pathways - partly to a detriment, mostly in the positive. Of course, though, the effects I'm about to talk about -- and it's effects in general -- are much more severe and pronounced the more and more you take, and most studies often relate to either very minor-scale usage or abusive scales.

At the cost of some short-term memory, ketamine acts as a fast-acting antidepressant. It might also serve as one of the inevitable ingredients in the cocktail of the Red Elixir that will grant us immortality, or atleast life extension: it doesn't only promote growth in certain areas of the brain (particularly ones that allow higher-order cognition, like the front cortex).

i wanted to write more -- but realistically, i think ketamine is just really fucking good depending. fuck new age puritanism that believes in the concept of a holy father that supposedly fucking hates his kids.

you're wounded -- if there was a god, he wouldn't blame you. and if he did? it's time to kill him in your heart.

i think addiction is obviously a concern, as with any drug -- but i don't make an effort to find efficient routes, and so, the methods are kind of time-consuming: and thus, easier to manage were something like that a concern.

what i know ketamine has done for me? it's renovated my life, it helps me put things back together and get on the grind, it's helped patch my broken porcelain shell back up -- & it's lovely. i haven't felt serious feelings of suicidal ideation since i first had it. i love this wonder-chem for all it has done for me, and all the ways it has helped me on my road to happiness.
